----- sylvia was always a bright, sweet girl, and just a joy to be around. she was my favorite student, so hard-working and helpful. but she was always very quiet, too. no matter what happened, she never really seemed to open up and come out of her shell. she didn't socialize much with the other children, and I wish I could have helped her more with that. but she often just kept to herself and was always reading.

----- syl is really a sweetheart. she's so compassionate and giving and just one of the best people you'll ever meet in your entire life. she went through a really tough time when she was at home...I'm not really sure what happened, exactly, but I know she lives with her mother and doesn't want to leave her side anytime soon. it's kind of sad, really, because she's such an amazing girl.
